Coffee enthusiasts have a number of options when it comes to local spots that offer a variety of roasts and specialty drinks.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — There are easily hundreds of coffee shops in the East Bay alone, with Castro Valley home to many of them. While a visit to a cafe for a cappuccino, a latte, a double or triple shot of espresso or just a good ol' cup of coffee is justifiable in any season or month, it’s all-the-more-enticing as fall gets underway and October nears.

Ones Cafe & Bakery
Details: This cafe has a variety of coffee drinks, including caramel cinnamon, black sesame, sea salt cheese, orange and vanilla lattes.

Pampas Cafe
Details: On the menu are all of the essentials: drip coffee, espresso, macchiato, cafe au lait, mocha, Americano and more.

Cafe Rumi
Details: This cafe’s coffees are oak wood-roasted locally in the Bay Area. A signature drink on the menu is the pink chai.

Bake It Up Bakery & Cafe
Details: This cafe offers Turkish coffee, a cardamom latte and a Dubai chocolate pistachio latte, along with other drinks and many pastries.

Details: This spacious cafe serves coffee from Cat & Cloud, a Santa Cruz-based roaster.

Details: This local favorite has pumpkin spice, butter pecan, coconut almond and caramel lattes, a banana mocha and much more on the menu.
