LOS ANGELES, CA — Nearly 100 trees in Del Rey's Culver Boulevard median recently got trimmed for the first time in 20 years as part of a beautification project.

StreetsLA, Urban Forestry and Councilwoman Traci Park's Clean Team partnered for the project, centered on the grassy median on the portion of Culver Boulevard southwest of the 405 Freeway, Park said in a recent newsletter.

It marked the first time the trees were trimmed since they were planted 20 years ago. The project also included shrub pruning and the disposal of trash in the pathway and gutters, Park said.
