Authorities ID Ukiah Man In Deadly 101 Crash Into Tree
The fatal crash happened Saturday near the Mendocino Avenue undercrossing in Santa Rosa.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A man who died in a crash Saturday afternoon in Santa Rosa was identified Monday by the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office as 58-year-old Ukiah resident Robert Myers.
Myers died when a vehicle he was driving hit a redwood tree at about 4:30 p.m. just off southbound U.S. Highway 101 at the Mendocino Avenue undercrossing, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The Mendocino Avenue on-ramp was closed for about two hours while CHP officers investigated the crash, CHP Officer Jonathan Sloat said.
