Chanukah Candle Lighting at 5 p.m. Tonight in Healdsburg
Traditional menorah lighting ceremony at Oakville Grocery.
The annual lighting of the Chanukah menorah, or candelabra, will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Oakville Grocery on Healdsburg Plaza.
Previous years' event drew several who lit candles, sang songs and prayers, danced and spun the traditional Chanukah dreydl, a four-sided top marked with Hebrew letters.

This year's event will also include hot latkes (potato pancakes) and live music.
The menorah lighting ceremony is sponsored by the Chabad Jewish Center of Sonoma County.

Chanukah, also spelled Hanukkah, begins Dec. 8 and lasts for eight days.
