Neighbors Raise Cash For Healdsburg Restaurant Owners After Burglary
Organizers of the fundraiser said the owners of Thai Orchid Cuisine returned home late last month to find their home ravaged.
HEALDSBURG, CA — North Bay neighbors are chipping in to help the owners of a beloved Healdsburg restaurant after their home was burglarized last month.
According to the organizers of an online fundraiser, a burglar stole irreplaceable items from the Kloytamwong family's Windsor home on June 28, damaging or stealing many of their belongings, with only a fraction covered by insurance. The family, who owns Thai Orchid Cuisine in Healdsburg, discovered the crime when they returned home that evening.
"The family has devoted 20 years to feeding the community with love and smiles," Friends of Thai Orchird wrote on a GoFundMe page. "Returning the favor with any form of donation will be incredibly impactful in their time of deserving need."
