Police Investigating Vandalism To Statues In Cloverdale

CLOVERDALE, CA — An investigation is underway in Cloverdale into the vandalization of multiple pieces of public art.
The Cloverdale Police Department said over the past few weeks, there have been reports of vandalism to several statues, particularly the artwork on the corner of North Cloverdale Boulevard and East 2nd Street and Cloverdale Boulevard at Citrus Fair Drive.
"These acts not only deface our cultural heritage but also disrupt the sense of security and pride that we take in our community," police said. "The Cloverdale Police Department is actively working on an investigation to identify those responsible for these senseless acts."

Police understand the importance of community involvement in solving the issue and asked anyone who has seen anything unusual or witnessed any suspicious activities around the statues to share the information with the police department. Community members can provide information by calling 707-894-2150 and asking for Officer Beau Gastineau, or by visiting the police department at 112 Broad St. to speak with an officer in person.
