Postal Service Job Fair Coming Up In Healdsburg, More SoCo Cities
Healdsburg is one of 69 Bay Area postal facilities hosting job fairs as the USPS looks to fill 800 positions.

HEALDSBURG, CA—The Postal Service urges job seekers to leave their superstitions at the door on Friday, Sept. 13, and attend a job fair that will be thrilling for all the right reasons.
"The best way to predict your future is to create it, and with over 69 participating locations, there is an opportunity to fill nearly 800 positions across the greater Bay Area," said Kristina Uppal, spokesperson for the U.S. Postal Service in the Bay Area.
Applicants can leave their salt and clovers at home but bring a resume and natural charm to one of the participating Bay Area USPS locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. (Here is a complete list of the participating sites.)

The Postal Service has the most sophisticated mail processing equipment and the best last-mile delivery networks in the world. Applicants will be guided through the entire online application process by USPS staff, hear from real employees, and submit their applications in real time for positions posted on Usps.com/careers. Applicants must be 18 years old or 16 with a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position requiring driving requires a valid driver's license and a clean DMV two-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status of five years is required.
