HOLLYWOOD, CA โ€” The Oscars red carpet fashions did not disappoint at the Dolby Theater after a nearly two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

The Academy Awards ceremony began earlier than usual with some of the technical awards handed out before the telecasted ceremony began as a way to keep the show on a tight schedule. However, the red carpet was finally able to make a full comeback, doing away with social distancing and bringing back a nonstop parade of celebrities.

The hottest trend of the night was a bold red look to match the carpet. From Ariana DeBose to Simu Liu there was no shortage of scarlet ensembles strutting down the carpet. Other attendees opted for Old Hollywood glamour, while some donned more modern couture.
