Photos: Chamber's Celebration of Leaders Awards Banquet

Many volunteers, businesses honored Friday night.

Fourteen people, organizations and businesses received accolades for their contributions to the city of Mountain View Friday.

The 18th annual Celebration of Leaders awards dinner honored outstanding individuals and businesses at the Oshman Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto.

  • Ambassador of the Year: Matthew Butler, branch manager of Xceed Financial Credit Union;
  • Outstanding Young Business Person: Claudia Cruz
  • Outstanding Business Person: Christine Tran, owner of Artisan Wine Depot;
  • Oustanding New Member: Hacker Dojo;
  • Outstanding Organization: MVLA High School Foundation;
  • Outstanding Small Business: Statcomm Inc.
  • Outstanding Large Business: Intuit

The non-profits also honored their volunteers of the year:

  • Community Health Awareness Council: Cole Hamlin
  • Community Services Agency: Jeannie Bruins
  • KMVT15: Brian Kraker
  • Leadership Mountain View: Todd McCombs
  • Day Worker Center of Mountain View: Christine Chatwell
  • Friends of Stevens Creek Trail: Roy Verley
  • El Camino YMCA: Dorothy 'Jeanie' Tittle

The criteria used in the selection process included the success of the business being nominated, their level of participation in our community and their Chamber involvement.
