A Napa man was found deceased outside of his pickup truck, with minor damage to the truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — A Napa man was found dead outside of his truck in west Napa County late Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP was informed at 11:30 a.m. about a crash involving a 2002 Ford F-350 truck off the road against a tree on Dry Creek Road north of Orchard Avenue south of Yountville in unincorporated Napa County, CHP Officer Vince Pompliano said.

The driver, Robert Bruner, 73, of Napa, was found dead at the scene. There was minor damage to the truck, which might have been moving 5-15 mph when it hit the tree, Pompliano said.

Pompliano said it is possible Bruner suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash.
