Man Wanted For Rape, Sodomy In Napa County Arrested On East Coast: Police
The man is accused of raping and sodomizing an unconscious, intoxicated woman, according to police.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — A Virginia man was arrested and charged with the rape of an unconscious woman in Napa County, according to authorities, who said sheriff’s detectives flew across the country to take the man into custody.
The detectives made the cross-country journey Saturday to Louisa, Virginia, where they met with officials from the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office and arrested 37-year-old Kyle Joseph Robinson at his home, according to police.
Robinson was charged with rape of an unconscious person, sodomy of an unconscious person, rape of an intoxicated person and sodomy of an intoxicated person, all felonies, police said.

In 2015, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation in Yountville in connection with a young woman who said she was sexually assaulted by a stranger, according to police. DNA testing years later gave detectives a hit on Robinson’s profile, police said.
Robinson was flown to California and booked into Napa County jail after being arrested on a $500,000 bail warrant, according to police.
