Napa County Sees Record Voter Turnout For November 2020 Election
Napa County had one of the highest voter turnouts in the Bay Area and in the state of California so far, state elections officials say.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Napa County had a record voter turnout of 86.6 percent for the Nov. 3 general election, according to Registrar of Voters John Tuteur.
The Napa County Election Division on Wednesday posted its final certified election results, which showed that there were 73,269 ballots cast.
In addition, 93.5 percent of the county's eligible citizens are registered to vote, according to Tuteur, leaving an additional 5,884 eligible citizens in the county who are not yet registered.

The county has one of the highest voter turnouts in the Bay Area and in the state so far, according to unofficial election results on the California Secretary of State's website.
In the Bay Area, Marin and Sonoma counties have the highest voter turnout so far with 90 percent turnout, followed by Napa and San Francisco counties with 86 percent, according to the state's results.

Tuteur thanked the Election Division staff, vote center workers, volunteers and voters for helping the county reach its record voter turnout.
