Berlin Announces Thanksgiving Weekend Closures
Thanksgiving is on Thursday, Nov. 28, with several municipal impacts announced.
BERLIN, CT — Thanksgiving 2024 is this week, with many area towns announcing impacts on what is closed for the annual, four-day, holiday weekend.
According to the Town of Berlin, all town departments will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
As for the refuse/recycling collection schedule, trash/recycling slated for pickup on Thursday and Friday will, instead, be picked up one day later (Friday and Saturday, respectively).

Local schools will dismiss early on Wednesday, Nov. 27, with no school on Thursday and Friday. Normal classes resume on Monday, Dec. 2.
