Berlin: June Is The Month To Get Dog Licenses Renewed

Failure to renew dog licenses will result in penalty fees after July 1.

BERLIN, CT — The Town of Berlin is reminding folks that June is when they need to renew their dog's license for 2023.

If they don't, they run the risk of state-mandated financial penalities.

According to the Berlin Town Clerk's Office, state law requires that dogs aged 6 months or older must be licensed.

licenses are valid from June 30 to July 1 the following year.

For spay/neutered dogs, the license is $8 and $19 for dogs that are not spayed/neutered.

Dog licenses are obtained at the Berlin Town Clerk's Office at Berlin Town Hall, 240 Kensington Ave., Berlin.
