Berlin Library Seeks Three-Sentence Love Stories
The library is hosting a contest all month long to determine who can write the best three-sentence romantic piece.
BERLIN, CT — If you struck out with your Valentine's Day present, you might have a chance to redeem yourself via a monthlong contest by the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library.
That's because the library, all month long, is conducting what it is calling a "Three Sentence Romance Contest."
Basically, participants have only three sentences to write a love story.

"Calling all romantics. Can you capture the essence of love in just three sentences? Whether it’s a sweeping declaration, a bittersweet goodbye, or a spark of new beginnings, show us your storytelling magic in this short and sweet romance contest," wrote the library.
This contest challenges participants to write a romance in exactly three sentences.

Multiple entries are encouraged.
The contest runs through the end of February and each participant gets a custom bookmark with their best three-sentence romance.
