Berlin PD Catches Wayward Pig, Seeks Its Owner

The Berlin Police Department Wednesday night was looking for the owner of a wandering pig in town.

BERLIN, CT — At least the Berlin Police Department said they were prepared for the pig puns on social media when they posted the discovery of a wandering porcine in town Wednesday.

The BPD said the hefty porker was seen wandering on Summit Wood Drive.

"At the risk of surely creative Facebook comments, police are currently out with a found pig on Summit Wood Drive," wrote police.

"He’s very friendly and we hope to find his owner."

As of late Thursday morning, there was still no update on the status of the pig.

As for the post's comments, they were quite creative and funny.
