Berlin Seeks Festive Homes In Holiday House Decorating Contest

BERLIN, CT — Local residents who think they can out-decorate Clark Griswold this holiday season can now prove it by participating in the town's annual Holiday House Decorating Contest.

Participants can register with the Berlin Parks and Recreation Department to win a prize.

Registration ends on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 4:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the town's "elves" will drive around to see the awesome decorations and award prizes in the following categories — Most Creative, Most Colorful, Most Decorated, Classic/Traditional, Inflatables, Best All-White Light Display, Elves' Favorite and Best Overall.

Folks can register for this free event online through Webtrac or call the Berlin Parks and Recreation Department at 860-828-7009. One registration per household.
