'Helping In Any Way She Can': Berlin Hero

When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Speech Pathologists

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She works in a Nursing home where a lot of covid patients are. Many of her patients have died. These people were not only her patients but they were like family. She is just out of grad school and this is her first job. She is helping in anyway she can because they are short staffed so she offers to deliver meals, feed them or whatever their needs are. She loves her patients.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
These people who work in nursing homes are on the front lines and still trying to help your family members in anyway they can.
