"This is your chance to clear out those gently used decorations you no longer need and find some fabulous new treasures to brighten up your space," wrote the library in an announcement.
Items must match the theme of the event and they should be clean, undamaged, and ready for use by someone else.
• On Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. is "Swap Day" at the library.
This is when folks can come in and, simply, grab something they like.
It is first-come, first-served and no bags will be supplied, so participants should bring some from home.
It should be noted that those who donate items on Friday will be given a special ticket allowing for early access to the bounty of items at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8.
The library regularly hosts other "Swap Shops" for items like office/school supplies; toys; jewelry, etc.
