Bridge Work To Close Farmington Sidewalks: Police
The closures will take effect Monday, June 17, as the project is expected to last about two weeks.
FARMINGTON, CT — Sidewalks on a local bridge will be closed for a couple weeks for construction work starting Monday, June 17.
According to the Farmington Police Department, the Unionville Bridge will have sidewalk closures due to construction from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily starting Monday.
Operations will be performed on one sidewalk at a time," wrote the FPD. "A sidewalk closure detour will be installed, providing direction to all pedestrians."

This work is expected to last for the next two weeks, police said.
