Busy Farmington Road To Be Closed Occasionally Through Oct. 11
Construction crews are performing a major drainage overhaul on the local roadway.
FARMINGTON, CT — Traffic on a busy roadway in Farmington will be impacted by construction through early next month.
According to the Town of Farmington, drainage construction is ongoing on Mountain Spring Road as of Monday, Sept. 23, through Friday, Oct. 11.
As a result, the roadway will be closed for much of the day on Monday through Friday until complete.

Local officials said Mountain Spring Road will be passable until 8:30 a.m. each morning for school busses and vehicles.
It will, however, be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday-Friday.

"Signage will be posted throughout construction for residents to determine which detour route to take to reach their property," wrote the town.
