Town of Farmington FARMINGTON, CT — The state Department of Transportation has announced the installation of a Wrong Way Driver Detection System on Interstate 84 westbound at Exit 39 in Farmington. Work is scheduled to take place today, Wednesday, April 9, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety. Installation will be carried out by state workers and will require a temporary closure of I-84 Westbound at Exit 39 from 6:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. April 9 into April 10.
