Farmington Warns Of Post-Storm Traffic Issues, Some Outages: UPDATE
A key roadway in town is closed and another busy section is without power, resulting in the stoplights not working, police said.

FARMINGTON, CT — Local police are warning motorists traveling in Farmington to be wary of two situations due to the overnight severe thunderstorms and their impact on roadways.
The Farmington Police Department said Route 177 was closed from Coppermine Road to Meadow Road and drivers should seek alternate routes, but it has since reopened as of 8:15 a.m.
In addition, police said, Route 4 from South Main Street to Brickyard Road in Unionville is without power and traffic lights are not functioning.
