Farmington Road Closed Due To Flooding
Motorists on Tuesday afternoon were urged to seek alternate routes of travel following heavy rains in that area.
FARMINGTON, CT — Heavy rain Tuesday afternoon has prompted local police to close a key roadway in town due to flooding.
The Farmington Police Department said an area known as the "flats" was closed off to traffic due to water over the roadway.
The "flats" is a section of Meadow Road from New Britain Avenue to Main Street, the FPD said.
