Farmington Road Reopens After Structure Fire: UPDATE

FARMINGTON, CT — Firefighters battled a blaze in a local neighborhood that had closed a roadway in Farmington, but it has since reopened.

According to the Town of Farmington at 6:12 a.m. Monday morning, Red Oak Hill Road was closed to traffic between Coppermine Road and New Britain Avenue.

Town officials said New Britain Avenue was also closed at the intersection of Red Oak Hill Road due to a structure fire.

At about 8:20 a.m., the town reported the roadway had reopened to traffic.

No further information was available Monday morning.
