GLASTONBURY, CT β€” Glastonbury police have made an arrest in connection with a car running over a tree in a roundabout in July.

On Monday, Glastonbury Police served a warrant to a 21-year-old New Britain woman in the case. She has been charged with evading responsibility, traveling too fast for conditions and making an improper turn, according to an arrest report.

The case goes back to July, when police received a report of a damaged and abandoned vehicle in the parking lot 228 Oak St.

Investigators determined the vehicle struck a tree in the Hebron Avenue/New London Turnpike roundabout before it was abandoned in the nearby parking lot.

The woman is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 22.
