A suspected drunken driver was apprehended in Glastonbury over the weekend.

GLASTONBURY, CT β Bad driving and bad lights led police to arrest a Portland man for drunken driving over the weekend in Glastonbury, an arrest report shows.
The incident took place at 2:14 a.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report.
An officer on patrol noticed the car not only tailgating and driving 56 mph in a 25 mph zone, but also ill-equipped with headlights. The officer stopped the vehicle along the 200 block of Main Street, according to an arrest report.

The man was charged with driving under the influence, following too closely, traveling too fast and having an improper number of headlamps, according to an arrest report.
