Car Blocking Traffic In Glastonbury Results In Charges Against Driver
A driver on a busy road in Glastonbury was no only impaired but possessing drugs, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT β A driver whose car was blocking traffic on a busy road in Glastonbury to close out last weekend was both drunk and carrying drugs, police said.
The incident took place Monday at 2:29 a.m., police said.
An officer on patrol on Hebron Avenue near Addison Road notice a vehicle parked partially in the road and partially on the shoulder, according to an arrest report. While questioning the driver, a 24-year-old East Hampton woman, an officer determined she was not only impaired, but in possession of narcotics, according to an arrest report.

She was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
