GLASTONBURY, CT β€” A wayward driver who hit a school bus in Glastonbury has been charged, police said.

Police released a report on the incident Wednesday.

At 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 2, Glastonbury officers responded to the area of Griswold Street and Cobbs Mill Lane after receiving a call about a vehicle being driven erratically.

According to an arrest report, the vehicle hit two others, including a school bus, and the driver then fled the scene, according to an arrest report.

The driver, a 69-year-old Glastonbury man, was located shortly after and admitted to driving his vehicle at the time of the accident, according to an arrest report.

The man has been charged with two counts of evading responsibility, failure to drive upon right and unsafe backing. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Dec. 23.

No injuries were reported.
