GLASTONBURY, CT β€” A passed-out driver was rescued from a fast food drive-through lane in Glastonbury and is facing a drunken driving charge as a result, police said.

Police released a report on the Sept. 21 incident this week.

At 8:03 p.m., that day, police arrested a 25-year-old Glastonbury woman for driving under the influence after they received a call from the McDonald's at 2915 Main St. about a driver who was unconscious behind the wheel of a motor vehicle in the drive-through lane, according to an arrest report.

She was determined to be intoxicated, police said.

The woman is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 20.
