GLASTONBURY, CT β€” A bad parking job by a drunken, unlicensed driver led to charges in Glastonbury, police said.

According to an arrest report. at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Glastonbury Police arrested a 26-year-old New Haven man and charged him with driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed person.

An officer on routine patrol located a vehicle parked against a trash pail and partially blocking the travel lane in the area of 1000 Main St, according to an arrests report. The driver, police said, was then tracked down and charged.
