GLASTONBURY, CT — The Veterans Service Commission of Glastonbury will stage its Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Monuments on the Hubbard Street Green to honor all veterans.

The ceremony is slated to begin at 11 a.m.

This year's Ceremony will include patriotic songs by the Glastonbury High School Concert Choir and Treble Choir directed by Dr. Ethan Nash and Smith Middle School Select Chorus directed by Kate Ingram.

The guest speaker for this year's event will be former Connecticut Commissioner of Veterans Affairs Linda Schwartz.

Following the ceremony at the Green Monuments, attendees are invited to proceed to the Glastonbury Veteran's Cemetery located at 1341 Neipsic Road (north of and next to Eastbury School) where a brief ceremony and the playing of taps will take place at the monuments.

A light luncheon at Giovanni's Brick Oven Pizzeria located at 113 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury will follow.
