GLASTONBURY, CT β€” An early-morning speeding incident in a Glastonbury construction zone last week led to a drunken driving arrest, police said.

Glastonbury police released a report on the incident Thursday.

It was 1:29 a.m. that day when a 59-year-old Glastonbury man approached a work zone in the area of Main Street and Chestnut Hill Road and crashed, according to the report.

After the crash, the man was arrested for driving under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast in a work zone, according to the report.
