Middletown Board of Ed. Terminates Facilities Manager's Contract

Middletown board of education voted Tuesday to terminate the contract of facilities manager, Judy Yoder, which will begin in 60 days, the Middletown Press reported.

High tensions between Sodexo, who’s contract was just voted 4-3 along party lines for renewal at the last meeting, the facilities management company contracted by the board and Yoder’s employer, and the city custodial employees prompted Yoder’s termination, the Press reported.

Union employees reported problems with Yoder’s management style during public comment and in grievances, the Press reported.
