Obituary: Christen "Chrissy" Marie Samela, 28, of Norwich
Chrissy, a loving and devoted mother, worked as a nationally certified pharmacy technician.
NORWICH, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Christen Marie Samela, 28, of Norwich, formerly of Meriden, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital.
Chrissy was born in Meriden, August 16, 1992. She was a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician for Walmart in Norwich and Ocala, FL.
She is survived by her children, Kiana and Alexia Rivera, and Aniyah Cader; her mother, Jane Eroh Geremia and her fiancé, Luis Rojas of Norwich; her father, Nicholas J. Samela Jr., of Waterbury; her siblings, Danielle Geremia, Jamie Harlow and her husband William, Joseph M. Roberts, and Lacie Samela; her maternal grandparents, Joseph C. and Peggy Eroh of Meriden; her paternal grandparents, Nicholas Samela Sr. and Marybeth Samela of North Carolina; Samantha Harlow, Nicholas Harlow and Jennifer Lance, and Aiden Roberts; her great nephew, Theodore Harlow; her aunts and uncles, Jorge and Cathy Sola; Joseph M. and Lisa Eroh, Michael J. and Bridget Eroh, and Amy and Jim Hoffman; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be held Monday, August 2nd at 11 am at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. Pastor Jordan Asbury will officiate at the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
