Obituary: Robert Frank Salatto, Jr., 50, of Norwich

Robert Frank Salatto, Jr., of Norwich, passed away suddenly on June 3rd, 2023, at the age of 50. He was born in New Haven, CT on September 10th, 1972.

He spent his childhood years on the Connecticut Shoreline and had the opportunity to spend a few years living in Italy.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Salatto, Sr., his mother, Anita Rowe, and his beloved sister Melissa Salatto. He is survived by his siblings Natalie (Brian) Lorentson, Carla Moore, Jamie Taylor, & Anthony Faulkner; many nieces, nephews, aunts, & uncles; and his childhood friend James Faulkner.

Robert was a self-taught musician, had a brilliant mind, and was so proud of his ability to advocate for himself and others by becoming a paralegal. He had a love of motorcycles and anything fast. He was humble and selfless, always willing to cheer on those around him or give the shirt off his back to those who were struggling, despite the obstacles he had in his own life.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 14th at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., in Guilford, CT at 10 a.m.
