The Town of Berlin is seeking entry level applicants for the position of police officer.

The Berlin Police Department is participating in the CPCA entry level written test program. Only individuals who take and pass the CPCA written test will be permitted to apply to the Town of Berlin Police Department. For more information regarding this program and to register to take the CPCA test, go to www.PoliceApp.com/Berlin. Applicants must also have a valid 50% CHIP Card in order to submit an application.

The next CPCA written test is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2016. You must pass this test and have a valid 50% CHIP card before applying for this position.

Entry level applicants must meet all Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council entry requirements.

Applications will be accepted until Monday, March 7, 2016 at midnight.

Starting salary is currently $59,654 ranging to $75,982 after six years. Excellent, medical, dental and pension plans.
