Pat Egan Hooks Up With Braves After Last Minute Release
The 6-foot-8 pitcher has been close to the major leagues before and continues that pursuit.

Rocky Hill High School and Quinnipiac alum Pat Egan was released by the Baltimore Orioles on the last day of spring training after six years in the organization.
After fielding offers, he signed with the Atlanta Braves the following week and is now pitching for the Braves team in Pearl, Mississippi. The team is in the AA Southern League.Â
He has made eight appearances thus far and sports a 2-0 record and a 1.93 era. In 14 innings he has struck out 13 and walked 4.
He is continuing his quest of making the big leagues after being close a number of times. You can follow Egan on the web mississippibraves.com. Â
