6 South Windsor Students Are 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar Candidates

The selections were announced by the White House Commission of Presidential Scholars.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Six students from South Windsor have been selected as candidates for the 2025 United States Presidential Scholars Program, according to the White House Commission of Presidential Scholars.

The students, like thousands of others from around the country, are being recognized for broad academic achievement and having scored exceptionally well on the SAT or ACT.

Honorees from South Windsor, all of whom attend South Windsor High School, are Satvik Kadappanavar, Meera Kannan, Roger Y. Mao, Smriti K. Rajan, Jeremy D. Shiju and Daniel Stoyanov.
