Busy South Windsor Street Closed Due To Crash And Downed Wires
Detours have been established, and police are advising motorists to stay home if possible due to ice road conditions.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A portion of one of the busiest roads in town is closed following a tractor trailer accident which has brought down wires.
Detours are set up in the area of 2600 Ellington Road. Police advise using Dart Hill and Miller roads if headed south on Ellington Road, and Foster Street Ext. and Foster Street as a detour for those headed north.
Police say several motor vehicle accidents have occurred due to icy road conditions, and advise motorists to stay home if possible.
