Here are some more outstanding recent milestones accomplished by college students hailing from South Windsor.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Emerson College, Boston MA

  • Two students from South Windsor were named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. Lorina Sediqi is majoring in communication studies and is a member of the Class of 2026. Olivia Trzaski is majoring in creative writing BFA and is a member of the Class of 2026. To make the Dean's List, students must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro NC

  • Sanaa Lee of South Windsor was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. She will be inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, on April 11, and into the National Society of Leadership and Success. on April 27.

State University of New York, Oswego NY

  • Camron Carvalho of South Windsor was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at State University of New York at Oswego. Carvalho is among approximately 20,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership.
