Day 4: Power Restoration Progress Being Made In South Windsor
Less than 6 percent of Eversource Energy customers in South Windsor remained without power early Saturday morning.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Power restoration efforts by Eversource Energy have increased dramatically in South Windsor since late Thursday night, as more than 3,000 residents who were without electricity at that time have regained service.
As of its 2 a.m. update Saturday, a total of 731 customers, or 5.97 percent, in South Windsor were still without power, down from 3,901 late Thursday. At its peak Wednesday, 4,847 customers were affected.
