Galligan Hopeful CT Studios Project Soon to be Realized
An update is planned for Tuesday's meeting.
Talks with the lenders for Connecticut Studios have left Town Manager Matthew Galligan optimistic about the long-delayed development.
The Town Council held an executive session Thursday night, in which Galligan said the lender laid out financial data relating to the project. He also said CT Studios representatives were in New York Thursday meeting with lenders and that they have chosen a fuel cell company that will be announced soon.
“I think we have a financially viable project here and hopefully we’ll have this thing closed soon,” Galligan said Friday.

Galligan said he will present an update of the project at the Town Council meeting to be held Tuesday.
