Interfaith Thanksgiving Service To Be Held Tuesday In South Windsor
Organizers say the goal is to bring residents together in unity and gratitude ahead of Thanksgiving.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Greater Hartford residents are invited to an interfaith pre-Thanksgiving service on Tuesday, November 25th, at 7 p.m. at Wapping Community Church on Ellington Road, according to organizers.
The free community-wide gathering will feature inspirational readings, music, and songs led by clergy and leaders from across several faith traditions. Organizers say the goal is to bring residents together in unity and gratitude ahead of Thanksgiving.
All are welcome, whether or not they belong to a religious congregation. Organizers said worshipping together in an interfaith setting serves as a reminder that “we are here for each other, and with each other…especially now.”
