Patch is asking readers to submit photos and stories about their favorite veterans for a tribute scheduled for Veterans Day on Nov. 11.
NORTH-CENTRAL CT — In honor of Veterans Day, Patch editors in north-central Connecticut want to give you the opportunity to tell us about the veteran close to you.
Did your grandfather serve? Your sister? Your father? Your brother? Your aunt? Do you want to tell us a story about your veteran? It can be funny, happy, sad - a story of pride, or one of relief.
Send us a brief story and photo of your veteran with their name, branch of service, rank, era and town in which they reside or resided, as well as your name and hometown.
