South Windsor Fireworks, Parade To Bring About Traffic Detours
Some road closures and detours will be in effect for the Friday night fireworks show at Nevers Road Park, and a parade Saturday morning.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — As part of South Windsor's 175th anniversary celebration, a fireworks show and parade have been scheduled, causing several road closures and detours.
The fireworks at Nevers Road Park are slated to begin Friday at dusk, around 7:30 p.m. Road closures will begin about 30 minutes prior to the start, according to South Windsor police.
The same road closures and detours will be in effect for the parade on Saturday, which steps off at 10 a.m.
