South Windsor Teacher Spotlight: 'She Is One Of A Kind'

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Great teachers matter. In South Windsor, we're fortunate to have teachers like Bridget Miscione.

How do you know the teacher? She was my son’s teacher

What does this person teach? Special Education

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mrs. Miscione goes above and beyond for her students, and that generosity is extended to their parents as well. She gives the parents her personal cell number to be able to contact her at anytime regarding their child. She cares so deeply that she even wants to know if the student had a bad morning so she can be there for them as a teacher/confidante to lean on. Mrs. Miscione’s kindness is incredibly genuine. You can tell all of her heart and soul are put into her students. Besides being an amazing person, she is also an amazing teacher! My son excelled in math last year in part because of her techniques in helping him grasp the concepts. Mrs. Miscione provides a learning environment that is based on kindness, patience, nurturing and understanding. She is one of a kind and deserves to be recognized.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

You will never forget her! Her impact is everlasting!
