Tours offered at Pleasant Valley District 5 Schoolhouse and Museum

The South Windsor Historical Society is offering free tours of the 19th century Pleasant Valley District 5 Schoolhouse and Museum at 771 Ellington Road through April. The one-room schoolhouse, built in 1862, is listed on the State Register of Historic Places and provided education to South Windsor children until 1952. The museum's displays provide an opportunity to learn about the town's history from the Colonial era to the present.
