Vehicles Sustain Heavy Damage In Crash On Busy Road In South Windsor

SOOUTH WINDSOR, CT — The drivers of two vehicles were hurt as a pickup truck and sedan collided on a busy road in South Windsor Tuesday, fire officials said.

The crash took place just after noon on Sullivan Avenue near Rye Street and both vehicle sustained heavy damage.

Both drivers were treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to local hospitals, according to fire officials.

Sullivan Avenue at Rye Street was down to one lane in each direction while the vehicles were removed from the road.
