Water Main Break Closes Portion Of Busy Road In South Windsor
The break on Pleasant Valley Road will take an estimated six to eight hours to repair, according to South Windsor fire officials.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A water main break on Pleasant Valley Road at Jeffrey Drive Wednesday afternoon has closed a segment of the busy street, according to the South Windsor Fire Department.
The break was reported around 2:30 p.m., resulting in the closure of Pleasant Valley between Nutmeg Road North and Hilton Drive. Water is off on the street from Nutmeg up to 376 Pleasant Valley, including hydrants, the fire department reported.
The Metropolitan District Commission is on scene making repairs; estimated time for repairs is 6 to 8 hours, the fire department reported.
